Allen Kessler eliminated from $600 T.O.R.S.E. in 3rd place

Allen Kessler has been eliminated from the $600 T.O.R.S.E. in 3rd place following a pair of hands versus Terry Johnson.

First, in 2-7 Triple Draw, Johnson was dealt a pat versus a one-card draw for Kessler that bricked three times, costing him the majority of his remaining stack.

Then shortly after in Omaha 8 or Better, Kessler got his last chips in on a flop from the big blind with for a flush draw and a gutshot versus Johnson's in the small blind for a set of tens.

The turn gave Kessler his flush, but the on the river filled Johnson up to win the hand and eliminate Kessler in 3rd place for $3,436.

Kessler loses a big stud pot, Shefer takes a big lead

Allen Kessler just lost a huge stud pot to Ariel Shefer three-handed when Kessler's Broadway straight was run down on 7th street by a full house for Shefer.

Kessler's reaction is quite something and we asked him about the hand as he went on break.

Chip counts for the final three in the $600 T.O.R.S.E. look like this with Shefer having taken the lead from Kessler.

  1. Ariel Shefer - 630,000
  2. Allen Kessler - 300,000
  3. Terry Johnson - 290,000
