With the international portion of this year's WSOP Online series already underway at GGPoker, preparations continue for the US-based portion of the series. As with the international offerings, the domestic series on WSOP.com's Nevada/New Jersey platform will offer a corresponding 33 bracelet events, beginning September 10, 2023. Along with the eight bracelets offered in the mini-WSOP Online series also ongoing at WSOP.com Canada, the domestic schedule brings the global offerings for the WSOP Online festival to 74 total bracelets.
The domestic portion of the WSOP Online series gets underway with the $400 "Series Kick-off," a no-limit hold'em event starting on the afternoon of September 10. From there, many familiar WSOP offerings make return appearances. including the Colossus, Lucky Sevens, Crazy Eights, and the $1,000 Online Championship.
The domestic WSOP Online series will also include two new offerings, a “PLOssus” tourney and a $1,500 Bounty No-Limit Hold’em 6-Max.
The 33 domestic events are spread across 37 days, wrapping up on October 17. Most days find one event getting underway, though Sundays are often bracelet-event doubleheaders, while a handful of off days for bracelet events are sprinkled throughout the series on weekdays.
Of the 33 domestic events, 15 feature buy-ins of $1,000 or higher, topped by the series' $3,200 High Roller Championship and a $5,300 Super High Roller 6-max Freezeout. The series offers a half dozen events with affordable $400 buy-ins, including the Series Kickoff and the Colossus, but the lowest entry point is a $365 Monster Stack tourney that begins on September 24.
As with the international WSOP Online slate, the schedule of events for the domestic portion of the series is available at WSOP.com. The WSOP notes that players must be physically located within the state borders of Nevada or New Jersey to participate.
