PokerStars has announced a last-chance event for players present in Las Vegas in early December to win one of the final $30,000 Platinum Pass packages that include a $25,000 seat at the PokerStars Players Championship main event in January 2023.
In what is likely the final live-event "Road to PSPC" promotion to be held within the U.S., the coveted Platinum Pass will go to the winner of a just-scheduled event to be held at Resorts World Las Vegas December 8-11, 2022. Resorts World will host the four-day tourney, which will feature a $100,000 prize-pool guarantee and carries a $400 buy-in.
The PSPC main event is the centerpiece of the reawakened PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, which returns for the first time since 2017. The entire PCA runs January 22 - February 3, 2023, at Baha-Mar Resort in Nassau, with the $25,000 PSPC main running January 30 through February 3. PokerStars has already awarded many hundreds of Platinum Passes to players around the globe, as it seeks to reestablish the Bahamas stop as a vital early-year tourney destination.
Three Day 1 flights at Resorts World event
Participants in the Resorts World tournament will have three separate Day 1 flights in which to play. Day 1A takes place on Thursday, December 8, Day 1B is on Friday, December 9, and Day 1C is on Saturday, December 10. The survivors from all three starting flights will combine on Sunday, December 11, when the event's prize money will be paid out and the $30,000 Platinum Pass bonus is awarded to the winner.
Each day's action at Resorts World LV begins at 12:05 p.m. Pacific Time.
The $30,000 Platinum Pass the winner will receive contains more than just the $25,000 PSPC seat. The Platinum Passes are designed to be all-expenses-paid packages, and each Pass also includes: six nights hotel accommodation for the winner (and a guest) in a 5-star hotel, airport transfer to the Bahamas, $1,900 in expense money, and extra Platinum Pass "winner experiences" during the event.
