Loeser clinches first career WSOP bracelet during the opening week of the 2021 WSOP Online
Manig Loeser didn’t need any further decoration to claim a spot among poker’s all-time best tournament players. The German poker pro entered the 2021 WSOP Online series among the top 100 on the Hendon Mob all-time tournament earnings list.
Loeser boasts a resume that includes Main Event wins on the European Poker Tour and Triton Poker High Roller circuit. His $11,190,734 in career cashes also includes a pair of wins in high-stakes side events on the World Poker Tour.
A WSOP bracelet had eluded Loeser up to this point in his career, but that status changed at the 2021 WSOP Online series. Loeser took down WSOP Online Event #2: $600 Monster Stack, topping a field of 1,038 entries and collecting a $104,313 payday.
The 2021 WSOP Online heads into Friday’s action with eight bracelet events complete, from a 33-event schedule. The series continues through August 1, available to players in New Jersey and Nevada on WSOP.com.
The series awarded the first eight WSOP bracelets of 2021 through Thursday’s action.

Six-figure cashes abound in the first week of WSOP Online play
In a year of booming live tournament attendance, the online component of the 2021 World Series of Poker is drawing solid player interest so far. Six of the first eight bracelet events yielded six-figure prizes to the winner.
Only the events on the Independence Day holiday weekend (July 3-4) failed to produce a first-place prize of at least $100,000. The most recent bracelet event wrapped up Thursday night, with Carlos ‘CarlosWelch’ Welch posting a victory in Event #8: $888 NLH Crazy Eights.
Welch added a $124,269 payday to his resume with the win. Welch’s win continued a streak of all first-time bracelet winners so far from the WSOP Online 2021.
The series continues Friday with Event #9: $400 NLH 6-Max. The WSOP Online 2021 features one tournament per day, every day through August 1, with the exception of a two-tournament schedule on Sunday, July 25.
The 2021 WSOP Online ends with a pair of tournaments that could be considered somewhat of a dual Main Event. Event #32: $1,000 NLH Championship, takes place on Saturday, July 31.
While the “NLH Championship” designation on that tournament indicates Main Event status, the biggest prize pool across the WSOP Online series could emerge the following day.
The circuit closes on Sunday, August 1, with Event #33: $500 NLH Grand Finale. The final tournament of the series is the only one on the schedule offering a guaranteed prize pool, with $1,000,000 on the line.
