Full schedule and satellites announced for 888poker LIVE Barcelona

The Spanish city of Barcelona has long been a favorite destination for poker players. Its Casino Barcelona has a great reputation for hosting large tournaments, and you can judge for yourself when 888poker LIVE returns this May.

Running from May 8-20, 888poker LIVE Barcelona will feature a packed schedule, including a Main Event with a buy-in set at the operator's traditional €888 level - one of the more affordable Main Events on the international circuit. In fact, buy-ins across much of the schedule make it an attractive proposition for budget-conscious players, with the majority of events bearing a price-tage of under €250.

A host of side events will range from €88 up to €2k, including mystery bounties, PLO, turbos and more. Live satellites will run throughout the series, but you can also bag a package worth $1,800 in online qualifiers running now.

Qualify from 1c or take a shot for $109

Step satellites are available which can turn a single cent into a $109 ticket for a 888poker LIVE Barcelona Festival 2024 ME Qualifier. You can also buy-in directly to the latter, found under the ‘Tournaments’ > ‘Live Events’ tab in the 888poker client, which will award $1,800 packages comprising:

• $970 (€888) buy-in to the Main Event, May 16-20
• $500 towards accommodation
• $330 in travel expenses

Three Day 1s for the Main Event run from May 16-18 at 3pm, with night owls also able to enjoy a final turbo Day 1d taking place at midnight on May 19. Day 2 will start 17 hours later, at 5pm, giving the turbo warriors a little time to rest up before heading back into battle. Most of the ME will be streamed at 888poker’s Twitch channel.
