It's back--and bigger than ever before.
ACR Poker's TheVenom, the crown jewel in the provider's offerings, returns this spring in style to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the tournament. The $12,500,000 guarantee marks the largest-ever in the tournament's history, topping last year's guarantee by $2,500,000.
From April 14th to May 1st the Venom will dominate the online poker streets as the biggest online tournament the United States has seen in nearly fifteen years. The first of five Day 1s starts April 14th, followed by Day 2 on the 29th, Day 3 on the 30th, and the final table--live streamed on ACR Poker's Twitch channel--kicks off May 1st.
The winner of this year's Venom will instantly become a millionaire, but they won't be the only one as the tournament will crown multiple millionaires.
Last year's winner Brandon Lulov triumphed over a field of 3,522 entrants and took home $1,577,970 for his efforts. The win for Lulov was especially impressive given the strength of the final table, with players like former ACR Pro Jonathan "apestyles" Van Fleet and high stakes professional Chris "2Rich2Care" Hunichen both in the mix.

The direct buy-in for this year's Venom, priced at $2,650, isn't the only way for players to get in on the action. Players can score tickets to the Venom on the cheaper side by winning Venom Fever satellite events or competing on The Beast leaderboards. In the coming weeks, ACR Poker will release further details on how to fight for your piece of the prize pool without breaking the bankroll.
