October edition of the recurring tournament series kicked off this week on the partypoker NJ network
Another New Jersey-only tournament series just launched on the partypoker NJ network. The latest installment of the partypoker US Network Online Series is currently underway, as the 11-tournament collection kicked off Oct. 11 and runs through Oct. 18.
The week-long series marks the most current of several chapters of the partypoker US Network Online Series. Every month of 2020 has seen the partypoker NJ group of online poker sites offer at least one major tournament series.
This month's partypoker US Network Online Series follows up on a successful run for September's WPT Borgata Online Series. If recent months are any indication, New Jersey players should have plenty of online tournament action to look forward to as 2020 comes to a close.
The partypoker US Network includes the New Jersey-only partypoker NJ, BetMGM, and Borgata Poker online skins. These three platforms share player liquidity, and New Jersey players can access the partypoker US Network Online Series from any of those sites.
More than $250,000 guaranteed across the 11-event series
The series features eight days of registration for the 11 tournaments offered. The biggest prize pool of all of these events will come in Event #10: Sunday $75,000 Guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em.
The tournament functions as the main event for the series, and comes with a $215 buy-in. Event #10 kicks off Sunday, Oct. 18 at 5 pm Eastern Time.
Wednesday and Thursday's series offerings each feature the progressive knockout format. Event #6: $20,000 Guaranteed PKO comes with a $215 buy-in and commences at 7:30 pm Eastern Time on Wednesday, Oct. 14. The following day sees Event #7: $25,000 Guaranteed PKO at a $535 buy-in, also kicking off at 7:30 pm.
A pair of $20,000 guaranteed events hit the schedule Friday and Saturday. Friday's Event #8: $20,000 Guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em Turbo offers a $215 buy-in, while Saturday's Event #9: $20,000 Guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em comes at a $320 price point.
The last day to register for a series event comes Sunday, with the Main Event (Event #10) starting at 5 pm Eastern Time. The series finale kicks off Sunday at 8 pm in the form of Event #11: $10,000 Guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em Turbo.
Opening events played out earlier this week
Event #5: $15,000 Guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em Rebuy/Add-on begins today at 7:30 pm, as the series hits the halfway point.
The partypoker US Network Online Series opened last Sunday (Oct. 11) with Event #1: $50,000 Guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em. The tournament brought out 293 entries, pushing the prize pool to $58,600. Player 'angels' took the win, cashing for $10,964.
Event #4: $20,000 Guaranteed PKO also saw the prize pool surpass the guarantee, with 69 entries pushing the total prize money to $20,700 in the $320 buy-in event. Player 'Jinxy' took down that event and $5,864 in prize pool and bounty money.
