Upcoming events include Sunday's $1 million guaranteed progressive knockout tournament
The Winning Poker Network is calling the ongoing MoMoMoPKO Tournament Series "the biggest PKO series of all time," and the seven-week schedule heads into week two this weekend.
All of the more than 500 events making up the MoMoMoPKO Series feature the progressive knockout format, making the series the first of its kind on WPN. PKO players still have five weeks to go until the series culminates in the $5 million guaranteed Venom PKO Main Event, set for October 23.
Plenty of big guarantees await in the series between now and then, however. Here's a look at what's coming up this weekend in the all-PKO series:
Event #129 ($55 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed)
MoMoMoPKO #129 plays as a $55 buy-in event with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. This tournament takes place as one of two MoMoMoPKO events on Saturday promising six-figures in total payouts.
Event #129 offers unlimited re-entry, with 10-minute levels and an 8-max structure. The tournament begins at 2 pm EDT Saturday.
Event #132 Super High Roller ($1,050 buy-in, $125,000 guaranteed)
The first of two Super High Roller tournaments on the weekend slate kicks off Saturday at 4 pm EDT. MoMoMoPKO #132 offers a $125,000 guaranteed prize pool at a $1,050 buy-in, with satellites to the tournament running Friday and Saturday prior to Event #132.
The tournament offers unlimited re-entry, and the winner will come away with the first-place prize and the biggest progressive bounty payoff of the tournament. This high roller event slows down the structure with 15-minute levels.
Event #145 Super High Roller ($2,650 buy-in, $250,000 guaranteed)
The second of this weekend's Super High Roller event doubles the buy-in and the prize pool, playing as a $2,650 entry event with a $250,000 guarantee. The tournament commences on Sunday at 2:30 pm EDT.
Event #145 plays out as one of four MoMoMoPKO events guaranteeing a six-figure or bigger prize pool on Sunday. This tournament features unlimited re-entry and 12-minute levels, with the winner guaranteed at least a five-figure payday.
Event #146 Sunday Special ($215 buy-in, $500,000 guaranteed)
WPN players will have the opportunity to multi-table a slew of big-money tournaments Sunday, including Event #145 Sunday Special. This deepstack tournament features 100,000 starting chip stacks, unlimited re-entry, and 10-minute levels.
Event #145 will play as a $215 buy-in tournament with a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. The Sunday Special commences at 2:30 pm EDT on Sunday, giving players the opportunity to engage in Super High Roller and the $1 million guaranteed weekly event at the same time as the Sunday Special.
Event #148 Feature Event ($630 buy-in, $1 million guaranteed)
The culmination of this weekend's MoMoMoPKO schedule kicks off Sunday at 3 pm EDT. Event #148 takes place as the second of six weekly $1 million guaranteed Feature Events on the MoMoMoPKO slate.
The $630 buy-in tournament surpassed the guarantee last Sunday, with the total prize pool ending up at $1,074,000, The winner's purse went to 'Fun Player', who took down the tournament victory and $135,468. That total for 'Fun Player' included $58,516 in bounties.
