A busy weekend in the US-domestic portion of the ongoing WSOP Online series wrapped up action on Sunday with a pair of highlight results. In Event #16, $400 COLOSSUS No-Limit Hold'em, Daniel Chan became the series' second double-bracelet winner, while veteran pro Shannon Shorr claimed his first World Series of Poker gold bracelet in Event #17, $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max.
Chan's second bracelet within a week's time was also worth $61,125.40, and it followed his triumph in Event #13, $500 No-Limit Hold’em. Chan, who is also a five-time WSOP Circuit ring winner, joined Calvin Anderson as the series' only double-bracelet winners to date. Shorr, who has won titles almost everywhere except at the WSOP, moved his recorded tourney earnings over the $12 million mark with his $89,125.78 payday in the WSOP.com-hosted event. Shorr has now won over $3.5 million in WSOP events.

'stayactive' double dips with COLOSSUS triumph
Chan, playing as "stayactive" on WSOP.com, topped one of the larger fields in the series to date in bagging the COLOSSUS win. Event #16 drew 789 total entries and generated a $284,040 prize pool, which was spread across the event's top 90 finishers.
Chan closed out Anthony "Venus" Hu for the win, leaving Hu to collect $37,862.53 for second place. Kristen "krissyb24" Foxen, who was also looking for her second win of the series, finished third for $26,074.87.

Shorr tops strong field for win in $2K NLH 6-Max event
Shannon Shorr, playing as "aulophobia" on WSOP, removed himself from the neverending "best player without a WSOP bracelet" discussions with his win in the $2K NLH 6-Max event on Sunday. Shorr's career dates back to at least 2006, when he also first cashed at the WSOP, and this event, pending the official recording of recent events, may have been his 200th career WSOP cash.
The $2K NLH 6-Max event attracted 113 players and 189 total entries to build a $349,650 prize pool spread across the top 36 finishers. Shorr sealed the win by eliminating two-time bracelet winner Maxx "mc4chess" Coleman, who cashed for $55,067. Chris "battenfield" Battenfield finished third for $37,867.09.
Other top finishers included Eric "circleball" Baldwin (sixth), Dan "lenny1" Heimiller (eighth), recent bracelet winners Yueqi "anoob" Zhu (ninth) and Qinghai “011pokerdr” Pan (tenth), and Jonathan "Art.Vandelay" Dokler (11th).
