More results are in from the WSOP Online International festival on GGPoker, where 33 bracelets will be awarded by the time September ends. In recent action, Romania's Vlad Darie, playing from Austria, claimed the largest first-place prize of the series to date by winning Event #7, $215 NLH Mystery Millions Bounty.
The popular bounty event drew 52,452 total entries on its way to building a prize pool of more than $10,375,000. When the event concluded with Darie's elimination of Ukraine's 'Premium_account', Darie locked up the winner's payday of $623,718.51, along with another $10,143 in collected bounties.
'Premium_account' earned second-place money of $467,503.25 plus another $6,355 in bounties. Third place went to Russia's Aleksandr Zhilin, who earned $350,982.99 plus an additional $3,730 in bounties.
Though Darie claimed the largest prize payout in the event, the largest cash claimed was, of course, the million-dollar bounty. The lucky winner of that seven-figure bounty was Austria's 'zipflzwigga', who scored the life-changing hit like this:
