WSOP Online International: Simon Eric Mattsson claims 2nd career bracelet

With the international WSOP Online bracelet series almost complete, more recent bracelet winners have been determined. Well-known Swedish pro Simon Eric Mattsson has earned his second career bracelet, while Portugal's Rui Ferreira and New Zealand's Paul Hong both won their first.

Mattsson tops $2,100 6-Handed Bounty NLH

In Event #30, $2,100 6-handed Bounty No-limit Hold'em, Sweden's Mattsson claimed his second career WSOP bracelet by outlasting a 1,230-player field. Both of Mattsson's bracelet triumphs have come in the autumn Online International series, with his triumph in the 2022 Online Main Event putting him on the roster of prominent online stars.

Mattsson collected a combined $328,149 in prize payout and accumulated bounties in this event while denying Vietnam's Phuong Ngoc 'An0824' Nguyen the title. Nguyen collected a combined $156,068. Third place and a combined $121,833.10 went to Singapore's Jonathan Gan. 144 players cashed in an event that offered a $2,460,000 prize pool.

Ferreira rolls in PLO High Roller

In Event #31: $5,000 Pot-limit Omaha High Roller, Portugal's Rui Ferreira, playing from Brazil, claimed the bracelet and the $245,483 winner's payday. Ferreira outlasted a 280-entry field for the victory, knocking out Finnish PLO specialist Eelis Parssinen to seal the title. Parssinen's runner-up run was worth $182,108, while Russia's Artur Vyborg earned $135,094 for third.

The PLO High Roller offered a $1,330,000 prize pool, which was distributed among the final 42 players.

Hong takes down the 'Closer' Bounty

In the final bounty event of the series, Event #32, $1,500 'Closer' NLH Turbo, New Zealand''s Paul Hong claimed the bracelet and a combined $359,144 in winner's payout and accumulated bounties. Austria's Hristo Anastassov pocketed a combined $227,546 for seconf place, and Poland's Yan Zhylinski earned a combined $152,379 for third. 

Event #32 attracted 2,159 total entries and offered, a $3,076,575 The top 215 finishers made the money.
