On Sunday evening, the ClubWPT Gold Super Stream kicks off, providing audiences with a front row seat to watch Ethan 'Rampage' Yau, Phil Ivey, Jean-Robert Bellande, and Alexander 'Wolfgang' Seibt battle it out in the virtual cash game streets. The Super Stream starts at 5pm PT/8pm ET and will air in its entirety on WPT's YouTube channel and ClubWPT Gold's X/Twitter account.
While the $10/$20 stakes aren't the typical nosebleeds Ivey and Bellande are accustomed to, the action will undoubtedly provide plenty of big pots. Plus, with potential prop games in the mix, the money should be flying around the table in no time at all.
In response to one player asking what the stakes were going to be, the ClubWPT Gold X account posted, "Only 10/20 but there will be some interesting things happening."
Yau excited; Bellande sends a message
Both Yau and Bellande took to social media in the days before the game to build the hype – with differing approaches taken by each player. Yau expressed his excitement for the game, telling his followers, "I'm super excited for this Super Stream on ClubWPT Gold."
While he may be ready to mix it up with Ivey, Bellande, and Seibt, Yau also hinted at embracing his inner 'Rampunts' persona: "Maybe I'll lose all my money, maybe I'll bluff Phil out of a pot."
Bellande, on the other hand, didn't hold back at all. While he also expressed his excitement for the game, it was for entirely different reasons: "Looking forward to whooping some ass; it's been a minute. Looking forward to hanging out with the boys, talking s**t and busting them up in poker."
Between the pre-match barbs and the personalities at the table, the Super Stream looks poised to provide high-value entertainment.
