LIVE Video: Thieves taunt $10,000 CodeOrg search team

This account just followed several people in the poker world and is taking responsibility for an odd moment on the EPT Cyprus broadcast today. We're working to determine if it's a troll account or connected to what we're working on. More to come.

Honestly, we were of half a mind to give up on this whole search. Our internal team has only made marginal progress. Half the people in our staff meeting this morning said they were stuck and couldn't move forward. Our A-Team made some amazing progress in Bakersfield, but we're still not close. 

Just as we were prepared to throw in the towel, this video arrived in our inboxes tonight. Although we only watched it once (we weren't going to watch again until the sun comes up),  we believe this group of thieves has just revealed a few important things about where this hunt is going.

1. All of the information we've collected so far could be valuable later this week. 
2. It doesn't matter if we haven't been able to solve every clue, and we don't have to solve the clues in order. 
3. We already have a lot of the information we'll need to find the pass. Although our preference was to keep this information private, we have learned along the path that we will need eight pieces of information to find the Gold Pass. It is our belief that--while we've not yet solved all the riddles--at least five or six puzzle pieces have already been released.
   
4. There are more clues to come (Animal Shelter?) and we should be looking out for them.

In our early reviews of this information (as well as some of our internal intel) we believe this video message to mean--no matter how much this has felt like a straight path full of impossible mountains--we aren't under any obligation to follow a path and that--heaven forbid anyone give up any equity--working together to solve this is probably in our best interest.

This problem showed up on Reddit yesterday . We've heard privately from some member of The Org. We know there are other coalitions building. We encourage as much cooperation as you can manage, because it feels like this search is about to take a turn for which we need to be aligned and prepared.

Something is happening, and we can't quite be sure what it is yet, but we just watched this interview our guy Lefty did down in Pompano Beach, and when we got to the end of it...well, you'll have to see for yourself. Right now, we're working to get back in touch with Lefty to make sure he's okay. 

As we mentioned earlier, we have been directed to ask for help as we work to recover the $10,000 NAPT Las Vegas Gold Pass (which includes an entry to the $5,300 Main Event, a hotel room, and money for travel). 

We were directed to first ask Maria Konnikova for her help. We truly hated to involve her, but we're a week into this search, and it doesn't appear as if we're even close to recovering the Gold Pass.

Even though we don't understand a word she's saying, we're incredibly grateful for her support.
