The 2024 World Series of Poker ended just days ago, but already we're feeling nostalgic as we debrief the summer's action. It's over, but the memories and records remain.
For those that weren't able to make it out to Las Vegas to join in on the fun, there aren't many better ways to get a feel for what it's like to walk the halls and sit at the tables of the WSOP than by watching Daniel Negreanu's daily vlogs.
The summer was a successful one for Negreanu, albeit not a financial one. Instead, Negreanu picked up a prize worth more than the money: his seventh bracelet, in the highly prestigious Poker Players Championship.
Below, we've compiled the highlights — the best of the best, if you will — to get you started.
1. Lucky number seven, the PPC win
This one is a bit of a no-brainer and we all know how it ends, but there's still a little magic in seeing Negreanu battle through one of poker's toughest fields to capture his seventh WSOP bracelet.
2. Ruling controversy
In this installation, we see the incident that led to a bit of a debate online over a ruling made in a hand that Negreanu played (more accurately, didn't play) with Artur Martirosian in the $100,000 High Roller.
3. DNegs vs. Ivey vs. Hellmuth, deep in the Dealer's Choice
Here, we have maybe an all-time great Negreanu WSOP vlog, featuring the two famous Phils. It's Negreanu, Phil Ivey, and Phil Hellmuth and they're all running deep in the $10,000 Dealer's Choice.
4. Day 1
Highlights of the summer aside, the best place for you to start this journey is at the start. Day 1 of 51 — go from there and
5. A $250k Super High Roller-coaster
It's hard to leave this one out of the list. It's a $250,000 buy-in tournament, rebuys allowed. If you want to see Negreanu battling it out against the best, here you go. Be forewarned, it gets messy.
