Looking for a poker tournament you can play in your lunch break without annoying the boss?

ACR Poker has announced the addition of brand-new, fast-paced tournaments – Lightning Progressive Knockouts (PKOs) – that deliver quick play and bounty prizes in just 45 minutes.

If you're short on time, the Lightning PKO format gives you the flexibility to jump into the action at any time. They run 24/7 and buy-ins range from $0.11 to $31.50.

Unlike traditional multi-table tournaments, each Lightning PKO event prioritizes pace of play to wrap up the action in 45 minutes. And with a 20-minute late registration window and a fair wind, you can make a run at victory in just under half an hour. You begin the Lightnings with 10 big blinds and each knockout results in a cash prize. This is poker gratification for the short-attention span generation.

Former WSOP Main Event champ Chris Moneymaker will be back for Day 2 of the Super Main Event. Moneymaker knows how to navigate a super-deep, super-slow structure, but needs a quick fix like anyone else.

ACR Poker ambassador Chris Moneymaker explained why he will be playing the new format. “If you’re a family man like me, finding time to play tournaments can be a challenge. Lightning PKOs are perfect for time-starved players who love fast-paced poker action and big knockout rewards without the long grind. Whether you’re playing on mobile or desktop, there are 45-minute tournaments running around the clock, making it easy to find a game and join the excitement anytime.”

It's not all fast and furious on ACR Poker, though. If you want a bigger buy-in, a bigger starting stack, and long levels, its flagship Venom tournaments are back, starting April 13. There are NLH and PLO flavors and $12 million in guarantees between the two of them.
