PokerStars has announced a comprehensive array of chances for players to win their way to November's North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Las Vegas stop at Resorts World Las Vegas. Stars is introducing multiple ways to win one of 100 Gold Pass packages to NAPT Las Vegas valued at $10,000 each. The NAPT Las Vegas stop will run November 1-10, 2024.

The Gold Pass packages can be won between now and the start of November via both live and online channels in US states where PokerStars is currently licensed to operate. Each Gold Pass prize package includes the following:

  • $5,300 buy-in: Entry to the Main Event of the NAPT.
  • $2,900 hotel accommodation: Ensuring a luxurious stay during the tournament.
  • $1,800 expenses: Additional funds to cover travel and other expenses.

The satellite channels toward a NAPT Las Vegas Main Event seat will include a special 'Path to NAPT' series of step qualifiers toward a Gold Pass, beginning with a 50-cent Step 1 satellite. Every player who logs on to their PokerStars account will receive a complimentary Step 1 ticket.

Silver Passes lead to NAPT Regional mains

The Path step-satellites also offer chances to chase 'Silver' passes instead of Gold, and the Silver passes can be redeemed for seat entries at NAPT regional stops this summer and fall, along with bi-weekly $1K NAPT online satellites.

PokerStars has also announced its first two NAPT regional stops for the second half of 2024. Maryland Live! will host an NAPT Regional July 31–August 4, while Philly Live! will host a similar but longer-running NAPT series August 22–September 8.

The winners of the main events at the Maryland and Pennsylvania stops will also collect a Gold Pass and an early-November trip to Las Vegas.

Summer Stacks festival returns

Players in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Canada's province of Ontario will have some added fun this summer. Largely (but not completely) separate for now from the NAPT-related events, PokerStars has also announced the return of its Summer Stacks online series.

The Summer Stacks festival includes events with buy-ins of $100 or less, and the series will run for 18 days, June 14–July 1, 2024. Michigan and New Jersey players will compete in a shared-liquidity series with $1.5 million in total guaranteed prize pools. Pennsylvania players will enjoy their own series with $1 million guaranteed, while Ontario's online players will have at least $800,000 in guaranteed prize money at stake.

The NAPT link is that each Super Stacks series has its own Main Event, and those winners will also receive a Gold Pass and the November trip to NAPT Las Vegas. (Accounting for exchange rates, the prize package for the Ontario Super Stacks main winner is currently valued at about CAD $14,000.)
