A system error occurring on the PaiWangLuo poker network, involving US-facing unregulated sites Bovada Poker and Ignition Casino, continues to leave an untold number of players left wanting after being credited with only portions of their tournament payouts.
Numerous posts on PokerFraudAlert.com and 2+2 include screengrab evidence of players being undercredited on winnings. Despite being provided evidence, the sites have only given brush-off responses.
The issues add to the difficulties players on the black-market sites have encountered in recent months. Bovada has exited numerous US states over the past couple of years in the face of US state-level regulatory and legal pressure. Overall, the PaiWangLuo sites have been pulled out of roughly a third of all US jurisdictions.
There have also been allegations of sift play and collusion leveled at Iinition from respected poker pro Brian Hastings.
Individual shorted payouts reach into thousands of dollars
Illustrating the issue, numerous Bovada and Ignition players posted evidence of the uncorrected errors to social media. Twitter/X poster 'SnoopDoug' helped spread the alert, with another poster 'MD' being one of the first to share pictures of the shortage:
Responses from customer service for the PaiWangLuo sites have ranged from the denial of any errors to the nonsensical:
Players have also reported being forcibly disconnected from online customer-service chats after trying repeatedly to get the errors corrected. It is unclear at the moment how many tournament players have been affected. The players also have little recourse should the PaiWangLuo sites, despite the considerable evidence, continue to deny that the payout problems occurred.
On Tuesday, Ignition finally posted a response on X that didn't give any clarification as to how long it might take before the errors are corrected.
