Live! Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia will host the first-ever PokerStars Open in North America from April 21–27 with a $1,100 Main Event that offers a $500,000 guarantee.
The first US-based PokerStars event of 2025 will feature a packed schedule across seven days, with a $2,200 High Roller on April 22-23, a $300 Women's Event on April 24, and a $400 PokerStars Cup on April 27.
The flagship $1,100 Main Event will run from April 23-27, with online satellites starting at $10 from March 26 for players in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ontario.

Special bounty draws Team Pros
The American wing of the PokerStars Ambassadors roster is expected to attend, like newly signed Jason Koon and Caitlin Comeskey, along with Maria Konnikova and Philly's hometown hero Jen Shahade.
They (and many others) be on hand for a special $300 NHL Bounty on April 23 with PokerStars Team Pros and other invitees will carry added prizes on their heads for the person lucky enough to knock them out.
The series will go down at Live! Casino & Hotel in the city's Stadium District, a room that has been growing its reputation as the hot spot for poker series in the Philadelphia area. The venue last hosted PokerStars for 14 events at the Summer Series in 2024.

A full schedule will be released soon for the event, which is expected to be part of the PokerStars Live League. PokerStars Open events will count toward the league, which will reward the best grinders with a shot at a €100K PokerStars Ambassador deal.
