The Moneymaker Tour, founded by the man himself Chris Moneymaker, announced today a new partnership with Texas Card House in Houston, Texas.
TCH Houston will play host to the first stop on the 2024 Moneymaker Tour calendar and offers players an action-packed schedule of events from January 10th to the 22nd. The new partnership marks the Moneymaker Tour's first visit to the state of Texas and, based on recent tour stops in Palm Beach and Cincinnati, should draw a large crowd of competitors.
Win-Win
The Moneymaker Tour launched earlier this year with an inaugural stop at the Palm Beach Kennel Club and has since grown to offer stops at the Daytona Beach Racing and Card Club and the Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati.
The tour's popularity has increased steadily across the year, with the recent stop in Cincinnati hosting the first Main Event to draw a $1,000,000 guarantee. The partnership with Texas Card House comes at just the right time as the tour looks to capitalize on its momentum.
"The Moneymaker Tour is excited to kick off the new year in a new state with a new partner, Texas Card House Houston”, said Tony Burns, Executive Manager. “Texas is becoming well known for its great action and we look forward to having our first ever stop in Houston starting January 10.”
The partnership looks to be a win-win for both parties as the Moneymaker Tour looks to improve on its impressive start while Texas Card House can expect a big turnout for the tour's first foray into Texas.
“This partnership with Texas Card House, Chris Moneymaker and the Moneymaker Tour is a key highlight in our ongoing efforts to deliver exceptional poker experiences in Texas,” said Texas Card House COO Victor Leone. “Our community of players and members can look forward to a dynamic and thrilling tournament series, showcasing the high-stakes play and intense competition synonymous with Chris Moneymaker! We warmly invite poker fans from all regions to join us for what is set to be a series of memorable tournaments and experiences.”
The Texas Card House stop will feature twelve trophy events, with buy-ins ranging from $150 to $1,500 and more than $500,000 in guarantees across the entire series. The Moneymaker Tour Main Event, running from January 16th to 22nd, will have a $1,500 buy-in and a $250,000 guarantee. The five starting flights will combine for Day 2 action and play out from there, with a live streamed final table.
