High Stakes Poker LIVE hit the PokerGO airwaves on Tuesday, bringing audiences the first of seven days of livestreamed coverage from the iconic show.
Day 1 set the tone as Jesse Lonis and Sam Soverel made their debut appearances alongside Johan 'YoH Viral' Guilbert, Justin Young, Justin Gavri, Markus Gonsalves, Bo Brownstein, and Natalie Ferguson for a $100/$200 no-limit hold'em cash game.
Everyone started with the minimum $50,000 buy-in in front of them, but by the end of the night there was much more money in play on the table.

Lonis on a free roll
In the first big pot of the night, both Lonis and Soverel were in the thick of the action – not shying away from the bright lights.
It was Lonis who started the action, raising 
to $600. Soverel called behind with 
to open the floodgates as Young came along with 
from the button while Brownstein called out of the small blind with 
and Ferguson defended her big blind with 
. With $3,200 in the middle, the 
flop connected with everyone bar Ferguson.
With bottom pair and a gutshot straight draw, Brownstein opted to lead into the field for a near pot-sized bet of $3,000. Ferguson sent her cards into the muck but Lonis and Soverel both made the call.
Young quickly raised to $12,000, in position with the bottom end of the straight. Brownstein made the call after a moment's though – as did Lonis.
Soverel was bemused by the action in front of him, but threw in calling chips as well.
Soverel reloads
The turn 
was an action card as both Brownstein and Lonis improved to the queen-high straight, with the latter adding a flush draw to his arsenal to go with his free roll for the higher end of the straight.
Brownstein opted to lead into the field for his entire $54,500 stack and Lonis called behind.
Soverel went into the tank for a bit here, making mental calculations and clarifying each players' stack size. Eventually, he decided to throw in a stack of chips for a call – enticed by the price to gamble and the strength of his draw.
With $214,700 in the middle, the three players agreed to run it twice. On the first river, the 
nothing changed.
The 
river on the second runout, however, changed everything as Lonis improved to an ace-high straight to scoop the entirety of that pot.
When the accounting was complete, Lonis walked away with 3/4ths of the pot – a hot start to his High Stakes Poker debut. Brownstein took the remaining quarter, leaving Soverel with nothing to show for his gamble.
A few minutes later, he added $100,000 to his stack.
