There's no other mid-major trophy more coveted than the WSOP Circuit ring. And, while the WSOP Circuit is celebrating 20 years on the road, the competition is fiercer than ever. The top of the all-time ring list has gone into overdrive in the past few weeks with all the players at the top winning rings and jockeying for position.
One of them, Mr. Dan 'MF' Lowery (it's in his X handle; we'll let you guess what it stands for), has secured two more rings in the past couple of weeks, bringing his total up to 18, and putting him in a tie for second place with former all-time ring leader, Maurice Hawkins. Both of them trail the perennial circuit freight train that is Ari Engel, who currently sits atop the mountain with 19. Dan Lowery is currently hunting the seniors circuit, where his last three rings have come from beating up on the 50+ crowd.
Overkill can drain a bankroll
If you're not familiar with PokerOrg's resident meme aficionado, let us introduce you to our very own Sammie Gruber. You'll often find her throwing elbows in the pit at a local Florida punk show or in our comment sections on social media trolling the trollers. However, every Thursday at 4pm EST, you can find her streaming poker (and maybe a little baccarat and blackjack) on PokerOrg's YouTube channel.
If you've not checked it out yet (shame on you), she streams live with no delay because obviously, as our resident troll hunter, she wants to be able to interact with chat, stoking the flames of an absolute dumpster fire.
Expect her to stream about 90 minutes at a time unless she punts her entire bankroll and logs off early like she did here. Drop by and ask her about the traffic cone and maybe help her figure out if she actually had a straight flush or not.
