We have the dates for the 2025 BetMGM Poker Championship, and the $3 million guaranteed prize pool is set to once again make this event one of the highlights of a busy summer of poker in Las Vegas.

Schedules from around the city are starting to roll in and BetMGM is the latest, announcing the fourth annual BetMGM Poker Championship on June 30 at ARIA Resort & Casino with five days of action concluding with a final table on July 4.

For the second consecutive year, PokerOrg will have exclusive live coverage of all of the action from the floor at Aria as some of the best players in the world battle it out in an event that's produced some memorable final tables in recent memory.

Summer in Vegas

In 2024, Dan Maor outlasted a field of 1,141 in the $3,500 buy-in event, taking home a first-place prize of $613,914. He captured the title despite taking on a collection of some tough competition at the final table, which included Andrew Moreno, Eric Baldwin, Ethan 'Rampage' Yau, Shannon Shorr, and Jordan 'JWprodigy' Westmorland.

It capped off a breakout summer for Maor in 2024, who also won a WSOP bracelet in the $10,000 WSOP Online Championship event.

Daniel Maor won last year's edition of the BetMGM Poker Championship. Daniel Maor won last year's edition of the BetMGM Poker Championship.

Two summers ago, Leo Taffe — a BetMGM online player from Michigan — won $560,442 after beating out 1,026 entrants. Maor and Taffe's wins both highlight the tremendous growth since the inaugural BetMGM Poker Championship in 2022, won for $224,236 by Joey Weissman over a field of 343 entrants.

The biggest year yet is expected across the board at Aria this summer. We'll be back soon with a full schedule and more — stay tuned for details on how you can win your way to Las Vegas.
