On the latest episode of No Gamble, No Future, the cameras picked up the action right where they left off with Alexander 'Wolfgang' Seibt, Matt Berkey, Ethan 'Rampage' Yau, Luiz 'Brazil God' Rizental, Justin Young, Shawn Madden, and Markus Gonsalves continuing their $100/$100 no-limit hold'em battle.
And, after booking his biggest-ever win earlier in the season, it was Seibt who found himself in the spotlight this week, for all the wrong reasons.
Seibt's back-to-back beats
Seibt ran into back-to-back beats to leave him with his biggest-ever loss. In the first hand, Seibt opted for the aggressor's route when he three-bet Rizental's $500 open to $1,500 with .
When the action folded back around, Rizental made the call with and the two players went to the
flop. In the face of a check from his opponent, Seibt wisely checked back to bring in the
on the turn. Rizental continued to play his hand trickily and checked once more, drawing a $1,200 bet from Seibt. With plenty of hands to derive value from, Rizental raised to $5,200 and Seibt came along after some thought.
Before the river was dealt, Rizental used his Big Reveal button to expose Seibt's . On the
river, Seibt improved to a no-good two pair and Rizental fired $8,000 into the $13,900 pot. After double checking his unexposed card, it didn't take long for Seibt to make the call, only to see the bad news.
The second hand followed more of a cooler trajectory. Seibt's early position raise to $500 with led to a three-bet to $3,000 from Yau and his
. When the action folded back around to him, Seibt slid all of his chips across the betting line and Yau made a quick call. With $34,100 in the middle, the two players agreed to run it twice.
Brent Hanks chimed in from the commentary booth to tell viewers, "Listen, he booked his largest-ever win earlier in the season. If he loses this – and he is a big favorite to lose – he will have his largest loss ever in a session. This is a disaster for Wolfgang, the content creator may be going out of business."
As Hanks predicted, the runout provided no miracle two-outer for Seibt and left Yau to haul in another sizable pot.
'Brazil God's' stand up game slip up
Seibt's woes weren't the end of the episode – far from it. In a round of the Stand Up Game, Rizental pulled off a gutsy all-in maneuver with to steal not only the dead money in the middle, but also avoid having to pay $300 to each of the other players – or so he thought.
In the Stand Up Game, the player who wins the pot must table both of their cards in order to achieve safety from the monetary penalty. Rizental, unfortunately, only showed the before sending his cards into the muck.
After consulting with the floor, the table put the decision to a coin flip – actually two coin flips – both of which Rizental lost. Later, Rizental attempted an ill-timed bluff against Yau – who had flopped quads – in an attempt to make up for his earlier mistake. Obviously, the bluff didn't work out for Rizental and he ended up having to pay out the $300 per player penalty.
