Last week, Kristen Foxen added a fifth World Series of Poker bracelet to her overall tally after besting the 172-player field in Event #19: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max during the WSOP Online bracelet series. Along with the wristwear, Foxen pocketed $56,703 for her efforts after firing three bullets into the tournament.
Third online bracelet
Over the summer, Foxen made waves with a deep run in the WSOP Main Event, eventually falling just short of the final table. At the time, many within the poker community offered Foxen their full-throated support, both on the rail and on social media.
This time around, the Canadian closed in spectacular style to add #5 to her growing collection, which now includes two live wins at the summer series in Las Vegas (2013, 2016) and three online wins (2020, 2023, 2024).
Poker's power couple
It's been a big week in the Foxen household as her win comes just days after her husband, Alex Foxen, captured his second WSOP bracelet in Event #17: $500 Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty on October 23. For his victory, Foxen took home the bling and $20,064 in prize money, plus $19,207 in bounties.
A little more than a week ago, the husband-and-wife high roller duo had a combined five WSOP bracelets. Now, they've increased that total to seven in just a few days' time.
