Josh Remitio wins second bracelet, Tony Dunst comes close in WSOP Online

The World Series of Poker has begun posting results from its ongoing WSOP Online domestic bracelet series with Las Vegas' Josh Remitio winning his second career bracelet to headline some of the festival's early action.

Remitio, playing as 'Bobsaggette', picked up lifetime bracelet number two in Event #4 of the series, $400 No-Limit Hold'em. The bracelet win was Remitio's second of 2024, after his June victory in Event #10 ($600 NLH MonsterStack) of the WSOP Online series that ran in conjunction with the summer's live WSOP. His latest bracelet win came over a 695-entry field, and his $40,857.66 winner's payday was the largest share of the event's $250,200 prize pool.

Remitio busted Brett 'Grindeddown' Halladay to secure the win, with Halladay collecting $29,773.80. Youngmin 'luvtheWNBA' Seo placed third for $21,842.46.

Scaturro wins Deepstack opener

The US-only series available to players in Michigan, Nevada, and New Jersey began with a $500 'Deepstack' tourney, which New Jersey's Paul Scaturro took down for his first career gold bracelet. Scaturro, who also has a Circuit ring victory to his credit, earned $52,468.29 for topping Event #1's 714-entry field, which combined to create a $321,300 prize pool.

Scaturro, playing as 'PrettyGood', held off Nevada's Jeremiah 'Freestylerr' Williams for the title. Williams' near-miss was worth $38,234.70, while New Jersey's Anuj 'Mr.Freedom' Sanjay Kumar Sethi took third for $28,049.49.

Mystery Bounty gold for Mathai

In Event #2, $1,000 NLH Mystery Bounty ($500,000 GTD), New Jersey's Sandeep 'Reaashsa' Mathai also joined the list of first-time bracelet winners by surviving a 513-player field in a tourney that fell just short of reaching its announced guarantee. Mathai busted a prior bracelet winner, Jonathan 'the85bears' Dokler, while collecting a combined $53,408.08 in prize payout and accumulated bounties.

Dokler's close miss on a second bracelet was still worth a combined $48,407.12. Third-place finisher Dusti 'GoldDust777' Smith cashed for a combined $28,161.04.

Hirschfeld tops Lucky Sevens

New Jersey's Tyler Hirschfeld also added his name to the roster of first-time bracelet winners by claiming the victory in Event #3: $777 NHL Lucky Sevens. Hirschfeld, who has one previous Circuit win to his credit, topped a loaded final table to collect this event's $54,157 winner's payout.

Three-time bracelet winner Tony Dunst just missed his fourth career bracelet, finishing in second for $39,263. Four-time bracelet winner Ben Yu was just behind Dunst, earning $28,455 for third. Three of the other four final-table players - Stanton Tentnowski, Ryan Depaulo, and John Ripnick - have also won bracelets.

Several more bracelet winners made the final three tables, including Nick Schulman, Justin Saliba, David Prociak, Kenny Huynh, Joon Kim, and Event #2 winner Anuj Sethi, who made a strong run at back-to-back bracelet wins.
