The 2025 Irish Open will add four days to its schedule to become the "biggest and richest" poker festival ever held in Ireland from April 10 to 21 next year.

The festival, which will celebrate its 45th edition, will also add €1,000,000 Mystery Bounty, a new high roller series, and a €2.5 million Main Event. It's the third year that PokerStars and PaddyPower will sponsor the event, which will take place at the Royal Dublin Society in Ballsbridge Dublin.

The 2024 edition drew 3,233 entries to its Main Event and broke records in almost every single tournament — handing out over €7.5 million in prize money across eight days.

Parker Talbot finally got his live win at this year's Irish Open. Parker Talbot picked up his first live win at the 2024 Irish Open.

The event also features a Mini Irish Open with a €1,000,000 guarantee and a $250 buy-in. The 2024 version drew 5,320 entries and was Ireland's largest-ever poker tournament. It's packed into the middle of a schedule that starts out with the brand-new €1,000,000 Mystery Bounty, sponsored by Luxon Pay, with four opening flights.

Several tournaments will return with an extra day after record-breaking fields in 2024, like The Hendon Mob Championship, which drew 599 entries this year. The America's Cup will also return with a goal to top 2024's tally of 495 entries, and the Six Max Championship, which had 385 entries, will become a two-day championship.

For the mixed game fans, new variants on the 2025 schedule are Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw, Big O, Open Face Chinese, a two-day H.O.R.S.E. event, and a two-day 8-game tournament.

Also returning for 2025 is The Craic Den, a "now-infamous" player's lounge with live music, games, and competitions every night.

"We are thrilled to announce that the Irish Open will be extended by an additional four days next year," organizers Paul O'Reilly and JP McCann said in a press release. "Our goal has always been to expand the event and ensure players have an unforgettable experience in Dublin, both at the tables and beyond. We are also delighted to continue our strong partnership with PokerStars and Paddy Power as our event sponsors, whose support helps us deliver a world-class poker experience. Additionally, we are pleased to welcome back LuxonPay as both an event and payment partner. With many exciting plans in place for 2025, we’re looking forward to what will be our most exciting event to date!”

Satellites to the Irish Open Main Event begin on Paddy Power on November 1 with opportunities to qualify on PokerStars to follow shortly after.
