GGPoker is launching online satellites to the 2025 WSOP Main Event on Sunday, March 9, with 15 $12K packages up for grabs at the start of its Road to Vegas campaign. It aims to send more than 1,100 players through online qualifiers to the year's most prestigious tournament.

The 2025 WSOP Main Event starts July 2 at the Paris and Horseshoe casinos in Vegas, and this year's champion will be crowned on July 16. Last year, Jonathan Tamayo won the $10,000,000 first prize to secure his place in poker history.

GGPoker sent 1,100 online qualifiers to play the Main Event last year and is looking to better that in 2025. Satellites start from as little as $1 and direct satellites into the Main Event play every Sunday at 6.30pm UTC.

This Sunday, the $1,200 direct buy-in guarantees a minimum of 15 Main Event packages that include buy-in, $2K expenses for travel and accommodation, and other perks such as entry into the GGPoker lounge.

MIllion-dollar bonus if you win as a GG qualifier

There's another incentive to qualify through GGPoker. If you get to the Main Event through its Road to Vegas campaign and go on to win the world's most coveted bracelet, you'll get a $1,000,000 bonus.

GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu said, "If you’ve ever dreamed of playing in the WSOP Main Event, GGPoker’s Road to Vegas is your best shot at making that dream a reality. We’re making it easier than ever for players of all levels to win their way to poker’s biggest stage — and if you take it all the way, there’s an extra million waiting for you!"

Negreanu got close to the Main Event bracelet in 2015, finishing 11th out of 6,420 players, and he'll be taking another shot at winning poker's Big One this year. One man who won't be there is Phil Hellmuth. The former Main Event champion said he wouldn't be playing the Main Event unless the grueling schedule is changed.

There's a lot more to the WSOP than just the Main Event, with 100 bracelets up for grabs in total this summer. You can find the full schedule for the 2025 WSOP, along with everything else you need to know, in our Ultimate Players Guide.
