The Moneymaker Tour closed out its series in Daytona, the second stop of the new poker tour that's starting off strong.
At the Daytona Beach Racing and Card Club, it was Michael "Dion" Jagroo who took home the biggest score by winning the Main Event for $102,222.
"I played this event down in West Palm Beach," said Jagroo. "I finished 19th in that one; it was really well run. I think this Moneymaker Tour, they got a good thing going."

The title goes to a local
Players came from far and wide to support the second event of the Tony Burns and Chris Moneymaker-led tour. In the end, it was a local player who claimed the top spot via a two-way deal with Ricardo Eyzaguirre.
"I started playing poker here back in 2007, 2008," said Jagroo. "So it's nice to have a victory here for sure."
Jagroo has had plenty of success on the tournament poker scene in recent years. This win eeks him closer to the $1 million mark in live earnings according to Hendon Mob. Jagroo doesn't seem to focus too much on specific results, though.
"I try not to focus too much on the big score," he said. "Just keep doing what I'm doing; putting in the hours, putting in the study time, doing it for a bigger purpose, too. The results will come."
A shrewd reader will notice Chris Moneymaker himself was not on the final table. He has the new champion to thank for that, as Jagroo was also responsible for ousting the 2003 Main Event Champion from his namesake tour's Main Event.
Now, Jagroo wins the money, the trophy, a custom painting signed by Chris Moneymaker, and a new Faded Spade setup.
The Moneymaker Tour's next stops
No time to rest for Burns and company as the tour already has its next two stops in sight.
The tour’s next stop will be the Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati from September 21st to October 2nd with over $2 million in guarantees. After that, they head back to where it all started at the Palm Beach Kennel Club from October 25th to November 6th.

Congratulations to Dion Jagroo for his impressive victory and for becoming the second champion of this exciting new tour!
