The Celebrity Poker Tour's Invitational IV poker tourney on Saturday night brought the stars to the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. Six hours of action later, gambling streamer 'Vegas Matt' topped an 80-celeb field to win the tournament's top prize of $20,000.

Vegas Matt, whose full name is Stephen Matt Morrow, stepped away from his typical fare of recording his own high-stakes slots action to take down the invite-only event. Vegas Matt topped a previous CPT winner, popular streamer and international chess grandmaster Qiyu 'Nemo' Zhou, to close out the win.

Vegas Matt closed out the win in dramatic fashion. Holding over a two-to-one lead in chips and facing an all-in shove from Zhou, who held an unsuited king-five, Vegas Matt hollywooded for a bit while considering a call with his own pocket deuces. A few moments later he called, uttering the familiar "Deuces never loses!" saying while setting calling chips over the betting line.

Flopped set still leaves suspense

A deuce in the window was the first card to appear, and Vegas Matt began a celebratory lap around the table. Except it wasn't quite over; the full flop was all diamonds, and Nemo held the , giving her eight outs to the straight and a double-through. A king on the turn gave Nemo a meaningless pair, since only another diamond that didn't pair the board would give her the hand. Instead, the case deuce appeared on the river, making quads and sealing the win for Vegas Matt.

Nemo settled for $10,000 as the event's runner-up, and has great form in these events. She won the first CPT Invitational and finished 7th in the last one. Actress and YouTuber Rachel Cook earned $5,000 for third.

Vegas Matt hot from the start

Vegas Matt was at or near the top of the chip counts almost from the beginning of play. Seated at the event's feature table with retired NBA star Dwight Howard, TV star Blac Chyna, viral internet celeb Haliey 'Hawk Tuah Girl' Welch, magician Xavier Mortimer and others, he took control of the table early.

Hawk Tuah and Blac Chyna exited in a double-knockout hand, while the fast-paced action soon had the tables consolidating as online celebs, Hollywood stars, athletesand more hit the rail. Among the others in attendance were H3H3, NELK, Tana Mongeau, Josh Richards, JC Caylen, Sara Saffari, Cash and Maverick Baker, Griffin Johnson, Ashley Nocera, 5up, Mark Dohner, Steven Schapiro, Yeezy Busta, CJ So Cool, and many others. The event was live-streamed on numerous feeds, including the Celebrity Poker Tour's own YouTube channel.
