When is the 2025 WSOP? It’s a question that’s been on our lips since the last one ended on July 17, and being back amid the razzamatazz of the World Series in The Bahamas this week, it’s been more on our minds than ever.

Someone must have noticed, because dates for the 56th World Series of Poker have just been announced. Action will begin on May 27, and run all the way through to July 16, once again taking place at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas on the strip.

As far as the $10K Main Event goes, the first starting flight will take place on July 2, with the final table scheduled to run July 15-16, once again under the bright lights at the Horseshoe Events Center.

With last year’s winner Jonathan Tamayo taking home a first prize of $10,000,000, poker players around the world can officially start daydreaming… now.

Mystery Millions and Millionaire Maker set to return

While the full slate of scheduled events is expected to be announced in early 2025, we can confirm that the Senior’s Championship, Mystery Millions and Millionaire Maker events will return. What’s more, a number of new tournament formats are anticipated, though details for these are still TBA.

“Each year allows us to refine further and improve the WSOP offering,” said WSOP CEO Ty Stewart upon announcing the dates, “and 2025 will be no exception. Expect the biggest poker events on the planet, the best action and the most intense competition as we once again welcome tens of thousands of poker enthusiasts eager to experience the magic of the WSOP.”

Last year’s Main Event drew a total of 10,112 entries, and recent live events have shown us that the appetite for live poker across the world remains as high as ever.

Caesars properties are believed to be accepting hotel bookings for the series already, with reduced room rates available using promo code ‘WSOP25’. Non-US satellites for WSOP events will begin at GGPoker from January.

PokerOrg will bring you more information, including a detailed tournament schedule, as soon as we can.
