Daniel Negreanu has confirmed that he will be playing in the $500K buy-in Triton Million event after sending out a post on X asking for an invite.

Who is Negreanu's partner?

The Triton Million isn't an 'open' event as such, although it is open to everyone. It follows the same format as other Triton Invitationals, in that pros can only play if they're invited by a businessman. No invite, no ticket to the party. The two sides are kept separate on Day 1 and only merge on Day 2 to play down to the champion.

Negreanu sent out an open invite to wealthy businessmen on his X account on November 28.

As expected, it didn't take him long to secure an invite. Negreanu did also confirm that his vlogs will be running through the whole of Paradise, including the Triton Million.

Triton Poker kept us waiting, but we found out who Negreanu's wealthy invitee was on Monday night, and it turned out to be a real curveball – Hustler Casino Live co-founder Ryan Feldman. Feldman has played just the one Triton event, the $25K 7-Handed in London last year, where he failed to cash.

Triton has now released the majority of the 'Million' field so far, with 22 of the possible 32 pairs now public.

Along with Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, Andrew Robl, Adrian Mateos, Justin Bonomo, Fedor Holz, Jason Koon and Stephen Chidwick will be headlining the pros' Day 1. Rob Yong, Ossi Ketola and David Einhorn are among some of the more recognizable names from the other half of the tournament.
