Hustler Casino Live made headlines earlier today, announcing the addition of businessman, playboy, and poker enthusiast Dan Bilzerian to the already-star-studded lineup for this coming Saturday.
Bilzerian fills out the final spot at a table comprised of two boxing champions, an NBA superstar, one of Brazil's greatest-ever soccer players, an eSports and streaming legend, and one of poker's most entertaining livestream regulars.
The first names in the lineup were announced during the Hustler Casino Live Million Dollar Game. Jimmy Butler, Neymar, Ninja, Ryan Garcia, and Alan Keating were the standouts from the initial announcement. Now, Bilzerian joins the party, along with Chris Eubank Jr., Jon Vlogs, and Velasco.
Bilzerian has held a controversial position in the poker community as some have questioned the veracity of his claims regarding winnings in private cash games. Along with those doubts, Bilzerian also faced criticism after striking a deal (and subsequently parting ways) with GGPoker to serve as part of its Ambassador Team. Poker pro and then-GGPoker affiliate Vanessa Kade spoke out heavily against the decision to bring Bilzerian aboard, citing past sexist comments and mistreatment of female players as part of her concerns over his hiring.
It's been a while since the poker community has been able to watch Bilzerian on a livestreamed poker game, but for fans and detractors alike the unique lineup will be hard to ignore and should draw big numbers in terms of viewership.
Back in 2021, Bilzerian made an appearance on Poker After Dark and put on quite the show with his trademark volatile playing style.
On the show, Bilzerian mixed it up with longtime friend and businessman Bill Perkins, plus Las Vegas DJ legend Steve Aoki and Eubank Jr.
With that in mind, don't expect Bilzerian to be blinded by the aura of the famous names around the table. Between him and Keating, the game should see plenty of big pots and wild action.
