Christina Gollins' most recent win came at the opening event at the $600 NLH $500K GTD WSOP-C event at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. Sheās also contributed her trademark Shark Tank rants on PokerOrg. This is her funniest poker story.
We are at the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas at one of their bigger series, and I'm heads-up with this lady, and I put her all in.
She has her headphones on and is taking her time to decide. Then she starts rapping. We're all just looking around; no one's calling the clock. Everyone's being really courteous. Then she gets up and starts twerking.
At this point, the dealer is making eye contact with me. He's trying not to lose it because they're really professional there. Iām trying not to give off any tells because I'm in the middle of a zero percenter bluff. All I'm worried about is her calling.
Then another 30 seconds goes by. She is still doing her thing. Then she puts a leg up on the table and starts throwing it back. Everyone just starts losing it. The whole poker room is looking at us, too. She can't see anyone. She can't hear anyone. Because her headphones are over her head and her eyes are closed. She's just such a vibe right now, and I don't want to disrupt it.
Then, randomly out of nowhere, in mid-twerk, she takes her cards, opens them up, looks at them one more time, and just chucks them into the muck. It was as if she had never planned on calling to begin with. She just wanted this really awkward platform to show off her moves.
Well, that was a little awkward. But thank you for the show. And thank you for not calling.
