A new PLO-focused poker series is making its debut next month as the PokerGO Tour partners with Houston’s Champions Club Texas for the PGT Texas PLO Roundup.
Running from November 16-25, the series will feature nine events with tournaments running every day, as well as plenty of chances to qualify via live satellites.
A $3,300 Main Event will have a $1M guarantee and seven starting flights running from November 21-24 (see full schedule below), with Days 2 and 3 held on November 25-26.
Buy-ins for other events on the schedule range from $300 to $5,300, with three tourneys at the high end of the scale each awarding PGT leaderboard points - as will the Main Event.
“Bringing an event of this magnitude to Texas showcases the growth of poker in the state,” said Champions Club Texas President Isaac Trumbo, adding “There is no shortage of pot-limit Omaha enthusiasm in Texas.”
Daily satellites available
Satellites will be running throughout the festival in a variety of formats, including milestone satellites and turbo super satellites. Additionally, four of the seven starting flights will be run as turbos, including a last-minute Day 1g early on the morning of Day 2, November 24.
Here are the details of the nine events on the schedule - all of which, naturally, will take the form of pot-limit Omaha tournaments.
