PokerOrg’s editor-in-chief Brad Willis won Best Journalist at the 6th Annual Global Poker Awards in Las Vegas on Saturday night. He beat off stiff competition from PokerOrg’s Head of Instant, Sarah Herring, who was nominated alongside David Lappin and Nick Jones. You can watch Brad's acceptance speech above but be warned, there may be tears.

That trophy was one of 38 handed out during awards week in an expanded lineup that saw several other members of the PokerOrg family honored at the PokerGO Studio at Aria Resort.

PokerOrg Player Advisory Board member Jeremy Ausmus won PokerGO Tour PGT Player of the Year. Abby Merk took home the gong for Rising Star in Content Creation and Nikki Limo won Best Media Content: Short-Form Video for What’s it like playing poker as a woman?

It was a good night all round for the Spraggs, with Benjamin ‘Spraggy’ Spragg taking home the award for best streamer, beating out fellow Player Advisory Board member Lex Veldhuis

Paul Oresteen repped PokerOrg in the Best Written Content category with his up-close-and-personal piece about poker pro Ari Engel. Jonathan Raab took this trophy with his brilliant add-on to the Bloomberg bot farm story.
