Jared Bleznick will return to the PokerGO Studio on Saturday with a great chance to win another Super High Roller Bowl: $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha and $1.5 million.

Bleznick, who won the inaugural outing of this event one year ago, will be the only player over 4 million chips when the final five players sit down on Saturday with blinds at 15K/30K/30K. He’s followed by Day 1 chip leader Artem Maksimov in second and a late-charging Sean Winter in third. Seth Davies, who registered with a fresh starting stack on Day 2, rounds out the final five with Josh Arieh

They’re all guaranteed at least $330,000 for fifth place — more than three times the original buy-in of $100,000.

Bleznick surges early

Day 1 drew 38 entries and four more players jumped in to bring the final tally to 42 entries for a prize pool of $4.2 million. The late entrants — Jason Koon, Nick Schulman, Michael Duek, and Davies — were spread out among the 15 surviving players from Day 1 across three tables in chase of chip leaders Maksimov, Bleznick, and Arieh.

Bleznick was the first to jump ahead with a seven-figure pot against Arieh after he scored the first knockout of the day when Martin Dam hit the rail in 19th place. The defending champion stayed on top while Schulman, Chase Steely, and Eelis Parssinen lost their chips before the final 14 players sat down at two tables.

Artem Maksimov turned the Day 1 chip lead into a top stack for Day 3. Artem Maksimov turned the Day 1 chip lead into a top stack for Day 3.

The top seven places paid out a min-cash of $170K and the field worked its way down to two tables of four on the money bubble. Bleznick held the lead with a stack over 4 million in chips and Davies was in second after a hot run from his initial late registration. Day 1 chip leader Maksimov remained in the top three less than one big blind behind Davies before a big gap ahead of Winter in fourth. Soverel, Ben Tollerene, Arieh, and Jeremy Ausmus rounded out the final eight players hoping to get through the bubble.

The bubble bursts

The unlucky player was Ausmus and Maksimov cleaned up the last of his chips with a turned flush to burst the bubble and establish himself in second place at a final table of seven.

From there, Arieh doubled off the bottom and left Tollerene to fend for himself with Soverel on the short stacks. Tollerene got it in on the turn with a board of and Davies called with for nines full. Tollerene turned over and walked off the stage in seventh place.

The final six played out the remaining level of the evening with a brief pause to find Winter, who stepped out of the building when he thought there was a break at the end of the level. Soverel held on with the short stack until the final three hands of the evening when he got it in with on a flop of . Maksimov called with and the runout gave him a flush to eliminate Soverel in sixth at the end of the night.
