The countdown to the 2024 World Series of Poker is on. Each day until the start of the series on May 28, we'll bring you tips and insider info from some of the biggest names in the game.

Ashley Frank aka PokerfaceAsh is a popular poker vlogger and a WSOP Circuit ring winner. Follow her on her YouTube page, or on Instagram and X/Twitter.

How do you prepare for the daily grind at the WSOP?

I prepare for the daily grind by ensuring I start a good workout regimen leading up to the series. Last year I came into it in the best shape of my post-collegiate athlete life. It really helped not only my physical stamina but also my mental health

I felt strong mentally and physically. And that is imperative to peak performance in poker and prepping for a long summer grind.

What event are you most looking forward to playing?

I’m looking forward to the $1,500 Monster Stack since I ran deep in that last year, and it’s a great structure [Ashley finished 16th for $56,980]. I’m also looking forward to the $10,000 Main Event, as, of course, I’d love to run deep and make a wave in the poker world this summer.

What is the biggest event you will play?

The biggest event I’ll play is the Main Event. It is the most amazing tournament that exists. There is nothing like it  .
