American poker star Alex Foxen has won the second World Series of Poker gold bracelet of his career by taking down Event #17 of the WSOP domestic series, $500 Pot-limit Omaha Mystery Bounty 6-max ($200,000 Guaranteed)

Foxen, playing as 'Serapis11', topped another American star, Dan 'BackdoorDan' Smith, for the victory. Foxen collected the event's $20,064.13 winner's payday, along with another $19,207.30 in bounties, for a total of $39,271.43.

Foxen, who was the Global Poker Index's Player of the Year in both 2018 and 2019 and is the only two-time winner of the honor, moved his recorded lifetime tourney earnings to more than $33.7 million. That ranks him 21st on the all-time money list.

Smith, the runner-up, earned a combined $14,790.12 in the tourney. The first GPI Player of the Year winner in 2012, Smith ranks even higher on the Hendon Mob's all-time earnings list, sitting sixth with nearly $51 million in recorded winnings.

Third place and a combined $12,517.77 in prize and bounties went to three-time Circuit ring winner Jordan 'Hexagon' Spurlin

Event #17 drew 466 total entries, comprised of 254 unique players who collectively added another 212 re-entries. The resulting $209,700 prize pool edged past the event's $200,000 guarantee, and the top 70 players finished in the money.
