The Merit Royal Cyprus will once again play host to the ultra-prestigious Super High Roller Bowl. The richest event on the 2024 PokerGO Tour schedule will run as part of the Super High Roller Series, taking place August 17-25.

The Super High Roller Bowl consistently brings out top-level, high stakes poker players in pursuit of one of the game's most-coveted victories. Previous winners include Justin Bonomo, Brian Rast, Michael Addamo, Daniel Negreanu, Isaac Haxton, and Christoph Vogelsang

PokerGO will partner once more with Merit Royal Cyprus and the Onyx Club -- a new, exclusive invite-only members club that focuses on high-stakes poker and gaming -- to offer the ultimate poker experience for nosebleed competitors.

For the first time, all events on the Super High Roller Bowl Series schedule will be freezeouts. The full slate boasts ten events, with buy-ins ranging from $25,000 up to the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl IX. Both No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha events are included and the ever-popular Mystery Bounty format will feature across both formats.

“Since its debut in 2015, Super High Roller Bowl has stood as one of poker’s most prolific tournaments and has built an incredibly rich history in less than a decade’s time,” said Mori Eskandani, President of PokerGO. “To date, Super High Roller Bowl events have awarded more than $168,000,000 in prize money, and champions have earned more than $61,000,000 in prize money combined. We simply cannot wait to have the Super High Roller Bowl back in North Cyprus, especially when we get to celebrate the grand opening of Merit’s new Onyx Club.”

Haxton's double, Bleznick's inaugural PLO win

Super High Roller Bowl VIII saw Isaac Haxton outlast a 20-player field to claim his second SHRB title, along with the $2,760,000 top prize. Haxton beat longtime friend Andrew 'LuckyChewy' Lichtenberger heads-up.

More recently, Haxton had a shot at a third SHRB title, but Jared Bleznick put a stop to his potential triple. Bleznick defeated Haxton heads-up to win the inaugural Pot-Limit Omaha Super High Roller Bowl for $1,292,000. The $100,000 event drew a 38-player field, with many Pot-Limit Omaha legends coming out of the woodwork to take part in the first-of-its-kind tournament.
