3 near-misses for Chris Moorman as first-timers claim WSOP bracelets

More bracelet-event results have been made public by the World Series of Poker as the WSOP Online domestic series rolls on. 

Three online players– Daniel Cosner, Jacob Kolbicz, and Brian Gates – won their first career bracelets in Events 16, 18, and 21, respectively, of the festival. British superstar Chris Moorman didn't win a bracelet, but he ran deep in each of these events, making final tables in Events 16 and 18 and finishing 10th in Event 21.

Cosner tops $1K NLH

Maryland's Daniel 'DCos95' Cosner wrote his name on a WSOP bracelet with his triumph in Event #16, $1,000 No-limit Hold'em. Cosner's $74,968.48 score was by far the largest WSOP cash of his career, and he secured it by busting Ryan 'PcklballPete' Andrada heads-up.

Andrada's near-miss was worth $55,239,80. Yong Keun 'ImFineT_T' Kwon finished third for a $41,429.85 payout. The event drew 422 total entries (253 unique players and 169 re-entries), building a $394,570 prize pool. 56 players cashed in the event.

Triple 3's Tip Off goes to Kolbicz

Michigan's Jacob 'jkin232' Kolbicz found his own first career bracelet in the affordably-priced Event #18, $333 No-limit Hold'em, an event that paid an informal homage to the start of the NBA basketball season. Kolbicz, a prior Circuit ring winner, also set a personal high for a WSOP cash with his $43,758 payday.

Kolbicz's victory left Mark 'GoFundMe' Roland one spot short, though with a nice $31,590 cash. Gabriel 'Kobeornot1' Dvorak ended up in third, worth $23,400. The Triple 3's Tip Off garnered 780 total entries, comprised of 421 initial buy-ins and 359 re-entries. The resulting $234,000 prize pool was split among the final 104 players.

Gates notches Deepstack Championship triumph

And in Event #21, $600 NLH Deepstack Championship, Vegas pro Brian 'BaulHardigan' Gates also claimed his first-ever bracelet win. Gates, who also has one Circuit ring to his credit, also logged a WSOP personal best with his $59,274.55 winner's cash.

Roger 'JohnCennnnna' Khoury finished as the Deepstack Championship's runner-upfor $43,584,74, while Simon 'OPTHJ' Levy placed third for $32,041.98.The event offered a $316,980 prize pool, built from 587 total entries (365 buy-ins and 222 re-entries). The final 80 players landed in the money spots.
