While the winter winds may still be on their way – geographically dependent – ACR Poker has deemed the timing right for its annual Winter Online Super Series (WOSS). From November 10-25, the WOSS returns to ACR Poker with $20,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools and a $35,000 Leaderboard Competition.
The announcement of the 2024 WOSS comes hot on the heels of ACR Poker's most recent Venom series – a dual-tournament version, with No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha PKO Main Events. Notably, both of the Venom PKOs surpassed the guarantees set and awarded a combined $8,000,000 in prizes.
Something for everyone
With an aim to cater to players of all skill levels and game preferences, the 2024 WOSS schedule features 230 events across a variety of formats including No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha, Turbo, Hyper Turbo, Mega Stack, and Progressive Knockout.
“Our 2024 Winter Online Super Series will mark the final major series of what has been a great year for ACR,” said ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker. “With a range of buy-ins and formats, there's an event for every player to enjoy, and a huge $20 million in guaranteed prizes on the line. We hope to see you at the tables.”
The highlights of the 2024 WOSS schedule include two Main Events – one with a $1,050 buy-in and $1,500,000 guarantee and another with a $250 buy-in and $750,000 guarantee – each of which offers two Day 1 flights to choose from on Sunday, November 17 and 24 respectively. In addition, three multi-flight Mystery Bounty events offering $500,000, $250,000, and $75,000 in guaranteed prizes bring the thrill of the unknown bounty hunt to the WOSS schedule. As always, there are numerous satellite events on the series schedule for those hoping to win their way into one of the big events on the cheap.
If the allure of the massive guarantees doesn't hook you, ACR Poker has put up $35,000 out of their own pocket to fund the Leaderboard Competition. Players who take part in Winter OSS events will earn points based on their overall finish and, with both Low and High leaderboards in play, can compete no matter the size of their bankroll.
