Time to crown a winner in Event $9: $400 Double Stack

Today at 1:00 p.m. the surviving 28 players from two starting flights combine for the second and final day of Event #9: $400 Double Stack. 550 total entrants showed up across the two starting flights to generate a prize pool of $181,500.

Patrick Goolsby leads the field going into Day 2 after finishing Day 1 with 1,445,000. Also in contention with big stacks is winner of Event #7 William Rowlett (1,415,000) and Maurice Hawkins (1,400,000) who will be aiming for a record-tying 19th Circuit ring in this event. All remaining players have locked up $1,799 while the winner will receive the top prize of $31,916 in addition to a WSOP Circuit ring and entry to the Tournament of Champions.

The marquee tournament of the series is quickly approaching with Day 1a of the $1,700 Main Event set to begin at 11:00 a.m. local time.

Han Feng won this event last year, overcoming a field of 472 entrants to win the top prize of $144,413.

This is a three-day event featuring two Day 1 starting flights. Players start with 40,000, worth 200 big blinds at the start of play. Levels on Day 1 are 40 minutes and each Day 1 will either play 16 levels or until 16% of the field remains, unless otherwise announced by the tournament staff. Late registration will be open until the start of Level 13 and players may re-enter once per starting flight during this period.

Those who fail to bag in Day 1a will still have one more shot as Day 1b takes place tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. local time.

$250 Ladies Event kicks off at 10:00 a.m.

We have an action-packed day with three new tournaments starting here at the Hard Rock Tulsa and four WSOP Circuit events on the schedule. 

Up first is the $250 Ladies event, set to begin at 10:00 a.m. local time.

The one-day tournament features a 20,000 starting stack, worth 100 big blinds to start the day. Levels are 30 minutes and late registration will be open until the start of Level 9, with unlimited re-entries permitted during that period. A 15-minute break is scheduled for every two hours and a one-hour dinner break will take place after six hours of play.

PokerOrg will be on-site to provide you all the action for this and every other tournament during an action-packed day here at the 2025 World Series of Poker Circuit in Tulsa.

The second and final starting flight of Event #9: $400 Double Stack has ended here at the Hard Rock Tulsa. Day 1b attracted 319 entries with 16 players finding a bag and advancing to Day 2 by the end of the night.

Leading the way is Patrick Goolsby who bagged the overall chip lead with 1,445,000. Goolsby is most closely followed by William Rowlett with 1,415,000 while Malachi Cramer rounds out the top three from Day 1b with 1,265,000.
