Ian Cohen Ships the Pompano Main for $193,100!
Chris Land
Main Event Champion - Ian Cohen
Hayley Hochstetler
After three long starting flights and an absolute battle of a Day 2 session, eight players bagged up chips for the grand finale that is the WSOPC circuit Main Event here at Harrah's Pompano Beach Casino.
When those eight players returned today, all of them had the same goal in mind; to claim a WSOPC Main Event ring by day's end, but when play got underway, one player was a mathematical favorite to be the last man standing based on chip stacks and now, that man stand's alone.
Ian Cohen was comfortable when he walked into the Harrah's Pompano tournament room today. Why? Well, holding the chip lead helped, but more than anything, he felt at home.
That's because he is home. Ian has grinded cash games here for years and a quick scroll through his first place finishes on Hendon Mob will reveal almost 30 wins that took place in this very building!
After navigating his way through the final table masterfully to get himself into heads up play with about a 6:1 chip lead against Josh Hillock, that comfort level was on full display as he ground Hillock down to just two blinds before putting the final nail in the coffin in Hillock's tournament run.
Joshua Hillock - Runner Up
Omar Sader
For his part, Hillock, a local business owner and "retired" professional poker player, he easily held court as the jester of the table, keeping the good spirits, laughs and conversations going on his way to a score that just surpasses his previous career live high score and moves him over the $1,000,000 in live earnings.
Anatoly Nikitin was putting a run together late but blinded down a bit then jammed the small blind and ran into the queens of Cohen in the big blind to be sent home with a new career high live score to add to his over $500,000 in live earnings.
At the end of the day, Cohen was overjoyed to get his first WSOP circuit ring in the main event at his home court. He couldn't say enough about the property and the staff and closed off with a huge thank you before noting that he's going to celebrate by buying a jet ski.
Final Table Payouts:
Ian Cohen - $183,100
Josh Hillock - $128,728
Anatoly Nikitin - $88,364
Robert LeBeau - $61,864
Steve Karp - $44,190
Jose Chapui - $32,219
Jack Nathan - $23,988
James Carroll - $18,246
Marcos El-Husick - $14,184
Zhen Cai - $11,276
That does it for the WSOPC Main Event from Harrah's Pompano Beach Casino!

Neal Corcoran gets his second ring of the series in Event #18!
Chris Land
Event #18 Champion - Neal Corcoran
Omar Sader
When this WSOP circuit series started here at Harrah's Pompano Beach Casino, most players came in just hoping to even get a chance at winning a single ring. A pursuit that most will inevitably fail at.
One might call coming in and winning more than one ring a longshot or even laughable but that's exactly what Neal Corcoran did when he claimed his second ring of the series in Event #18: $600 No-Limit Hold'em.
Before the series began, Corcoran had just nine WSOP related cashes and before this series closed out, he had added two more, both of them wins.
Earlier in the series, he won Event #3 for $13,837. Coupled with his $16,336 win in Event #18, Corcoran walked away with two brand new circuit rings and $30,173!
Final Table Payouts:
Neal Corcoran - $16,336
Vincent Cafone - $10,740
Eric Siegel - $7,298
Solange Lucas - $5,132
Adel Jo - $3,738
Josias Santos - $2,825
Kevin Blewitt - $2,218
Howard Mash - $1,811
Jonathan Moschel - $1,541
Jeffrey Yanchek - $1,369
*This event completed yesterday and is one of the events we had to catch up on from being pulled away during the main. Thank you for your patience throughout the series!

Cody Manning Stands Alone in the $100K Multi-Day!
Chris Land
Event #12 Champion - Cody Manning
Hayley Hochstetler
It may have been Event #12, but with every other event's ring having already been physically handed out, a tournament that ran it's first Day 1 almost a week ago was the last table running in the Harrah's Pompano Beach Casino tournament area.
When the table combine to one, bringing just 10 players to the finale, there were some familiar faces. Lawrence Whyte and Anibal Pabon have been popping up deep in tournaments all series and now found themselves at a final table together.
Hyndi Khomuetetsky and Judy Bielan certainly came ready to battle for this ring as well but when everything was said and done, it was Cody Manning alone at the table sizing his ring finger.
In the end, Manning got heads up with a big chip lead against Ramel Diaz-Warner. The two played briefly but the money went in with Manning holding a pair to Diaz-Warner's over cards. Manning held and Diaz-Warner was sent to the rail as Manning celebrated with his rail.
For his victory, Manning takes home $23,149, a seat to the 2025 WSOP Tournament of Champions and his first circuit ring!
