That's it for 2024!

Aneris Adomkevicius won the final bracelet of the summer in Event #99 Aneris Adomkevicius won the final bracelet of the summer in Event #99

It's been a fun summer. It's been a long summer. And for some, especially Jonathan Tamayo, it's been a very profitable one.

Two more bracelets were awarded after Tamayo was crowned Main Event champ last night.

Aneris Adomkevicius beat Mark Newhouse into second in the $1,000 Super Turbo No-Limit Hold'em. He got $201,355 and Newhouse took home the $134,288 consolation prize.

Ching Da Wu from Taiwan won The Closer and $525,500, with Mike Matusow getting knocked out first on the final table.

And that's all she wrote.

The WSOP hangover begins in earnest now, although there's no rest for PokerOrg. We're already back out on the WSOP Circuit, at Choctaw and you can get your next fix of Instant reporting there .

Thanks for being with us this summer, and an extra big thanks to anyone who stopped by the PokerOrg Clubhouse to say hi.

It's been a blast.

"I think they ran out of bags"

That small slip of paper is worth $10,000,000 and a place in poker history.

Tamayo: "Joe told me this tournament's impossible to win"

Here's your winner! Drink it all in Jonathan.

How it all started for Tamayo

Joe McKeehen won the Main Event in 2015. Look closely and you'll see a young Jonathan Tamayo eyeing up that bracelet. He's got his own now.
