$3 million guaranteed micro stakes tournament series runs Feb. 11-14
Players of just about any bankroll level should find plenty to like about the PokerStars MicroMillions marathon. The MicroMillions Marathon lives up to its name, with 107 tournaments offered at stakes from $1.10 to $22.
The PokerStars series truly does function as an online poker marathon, with the 107-tournament slate packed into a four-day schedule. The MicroMillions Marathon runs Feb. 11-14, offering a combined $3 million in guaranteed prize pools.
Here’s an overview of how to play in the series, including a look at some of the biggest prize pools offered:
Playing at PokerStars
The MicroMillions Marathon runs on the PokerStars international platform. PokerStars operates as the world’s biggest online poker site, but the international client isn’t available to U.S. players.
PokerStars does operate U.S. online poker sites in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. All of those U.S. platforms, however, are only accessible to players within those states.
If you live outside of the U.S. you can access the main PokerStars site from many countries around the world.
To download the main client, type “PokerStars” into a search engine and look for the version of the website with the “.com” suffix. If you live in an area where PokerStars legally operates, you’ll be able to download the site from there.
Once you’ve downloaded PokerStars, click on the “MicroMillions” tab at the top right of the main lobby to bring up all of the different events from the series. Before you can register for tournaments, you’ll need to make a deposit using the “Cashier” tab at the top right of the main lobby.

MicroMillions Marathon highlights
The MicroMillions Marathon tournaments will likely draw massive fields, with many five- and six-figure prize pool events offered at the lowest of stakes.
The centerpiece of the series comes in the form of Event #093: $22 Main Event PKO ($1 million guaranteed).
This progressive knockout tournament kicks off on Feb. 14, and breaks after just under eight hours of play. The surviving players from Day 1 come back to finish the tournament on Feb. 15, with likely the biggest payouts across all MicroMillions Marathon events going to the top finishers.
