The WSOP 'Industry employee' event started out as an event for dealers and staff. It's now expanded to include poker media people and even content creators such as vloggers. This has created quite a controversy. Consider Michelle, who is a poker dealer at the Golden Nugget. She is obviously the person who the WSOP was thinking about when they first created the 'Industry employee' event. But over here we have Dan, who has a YouTube poker vlog, with a whopping 1.3k subscribers. Dan is just out there, living his best life, telling 1300 people about his adventures as a recreational $1/3 player in Iowa. He's doing his part to spread the joy of poker. Is that enough to deserve eligibility for the WSOP 'Industry employee' tournament?
