America's Cardroom will be sending more than $17,000 to support breast cancer charity efforts.
Last week in recognition of International Women's Day, ACR ran a charity tournament in support of the United Breast Cancer Foundation. The tournament pulled in 344 entrants for a total prize pool of $16,700.
ACR Team Pros Katie Lindsay and Ebony Kenney, alongside influencers Nikki Limo and Caitlin Comeskey, went live on the ACR Twitch channel. Together, they streamed the tournament gameplay and discussed their experiences on and off the felt. The entire stream replay is available for rewatch here.
After the tournament, Lindsay said, "I was delighted when ACR agreed to host another charity tournament for the United Breast Cancer Foundation. I'm overwhelmed with the success of this event. Raising even more money than last time was so wonderful and I know the money will go towards helping so many people that really need it."
ACR's donation will go toward supporting families and individuals dealing with breast cancer. The donated funds will assist with community service measures and targeted support like breast scanning and reconstructive surgery.
