Americas Cardroom's Venom-tinged offerings are back in force through much of October, with a full month of Venom Fever events serving as the lead-in to the major $5 million Venom PKO (progressive knockout) event running later this month. The $5 million Venom PKO main, which gets underway in another three weeks, matches May's Venom PKO event as being the largest progressive-knockout tournament in online-poker history. This marks the fifth edition of the Venom PKO.
This latest Venom festival from ACR begins on Sunday, October 2, with several online satellites into the Venom PKO main. Sunday's action half a dozen satellites into the main, with at least 39 seats, valued at $2,650 each, to be awarded. It's just the first day of what's billed as a 1,000-seat giveaway. Day after day, through Sunday, October 30, satellites will run.
ACR has published a complete schedule of all the Venom PKO satellites, which are available with buy-ins beginning at $32. In addition to all the direct-entry satellites, ACR is offering freerolls, Blitz Satellites (starting at 11 cents), along with On Demand Step and Skip Tournaments.
$5 Million Venom PKO opening flights begin on October 20
Players have the option of qualifying through the satellite framework for the Venom PKO main or buying in directly to any of the four Day 1 starting flights, which are spread across the last two Thursdays and Saturdays of October.
These are the Day 1 flights for the Venom PKO:
- Oct. 20 - 1:05 p.m. ET (late registration open until 7:05 p.m.)
- Oct. 23 - 1:05 p.m. ET (late registration open until 7:05 p.m.)
- Oct. 27 - 1:05 p.m. ET (late registration open until 7:05 p.m.)
- Oct. 30 - 1:05 p.m. ET (late registration open until 7:05 p.m.)
