Saturday, June 25th. 2022 WSOP Days #18-22.
Another week of the WSOP has passed and with its passing, an array of names, new and old, have been added to the roster of bracelet winners.
The biggest of these names was Dan Zack who won the Event #40: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship. The other $10k championship to be awarded was Event #44: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship. That bracelet went to Andrew Yeh.
Yuliyan Kolev was the only millionaire made in the last few days. He won $1,125,141 for coming first in, appropriately, the Millionaire Maker.
Meanwhile, Daniel Negreanu lost his $250k buy-in to a runner-runner straight draw. Accused cheaters Ali Imsirovic, Jake Schindler, and Brynn Kenney also busted before cashing. Meanwhile, Phil Ivy and Dan Zack (again) coasted to the final table.
Last but not least, Poker.org's own Haley Hintze survived Day 1a of the Colossus. She will be entering Day 2 in the middle of the pack on Sunday with 135,000 in chips and blinds starting at 6,000-12,000. Good luck, Haley!
