Thumbs up for the Day 1C chip lead for Emmanuel Ignacio

The final 126 players in Day 1C of the WSOPC Main Event at TCH Social Austin have bagged up their chips to end play for the night.

Leading the way is Emmanuel Ignacio with 1,090,000, meaning Derek Sein-Lwin's mark of 1,136,000 will hold up for the overall lead when play resumes for Day 2 on Sunday at noon.

Just quads for a late-night Baliga boost

On a flop of , Arnav Baliga bet 45,000 from the small blind and was raised to 90,000 by Robert French in the cutoff.

Baliga called, and the fell on the turn.

This time, Baliga checked and French bet 95,000. After some thought, Baliga called.

The river put a full house on board and Baliga checked a final time.

After some thought of his own, French wisely checked behind as Baliga then tabled for quad sixes to win a healthy pot to wrap up the night, though he bemoaned being able to get more had a brick fallen on the river.

Rafael Port has helped burst the bubble without any hand for hand play

Level 17: 5,000 / 10,000 (10,000) - 150 remain

Following Rafael Port's elimination of Jason Brewer, which rocketed Port into the chip lead, tournament staff announced that dealers should hold up at the completion of the current hand, signalling impending hand-for-hand play.

However...

At other tables around the room, two more players were eliminated, including Andrew Moss, who goes down as the official bubble boy.

The final 150 players have now made the money and will have a half hour to either get down to 100 players or complete Level 17, whichever comes first.
